You can park for free on the Weeskinderendijk car park. More information can be found here.

If you prefer to park closer to home, there are plenty of alternative garages, but be careful because it can get crowded. And for the summer, cycling is of course a good alternative. You can park your bike here for free.

A disabled parking card allows you to park in all car parks. A disabled parking permit allows you to park in all car parks. You always pay the adjusted amount of € 1.50 per hour. You can also use mobile parking. The area code for this is 7841. In the parking garage, you pay the rate that applies there.

Qbuzz city buses operate in Dordrecht. You can buy a separate ticket from the driver (debit card) or use your OV-chip card. Check the Qbuzz website for more information. At the service store at CS Dordrecht it is possible to buy a single ticket with cash.

The Qbuzz bus station is located next to the central station. All city and regional buses depart from here. Line 10 will take you from here to the city centre in a few minutes.

On the Waterbus you can check in and out with your OV-chipkaart, pay by debit card or order a ticket online. Cash payment is not possible. You can buy a single ticket, return ticket, day ticket or family ticket.

The Waterbus sails between Dordrecht, the Drechtsteden, Rotterdam and the Biesbosch. Bicycles can be taken on board free of charge.

On the west side of the city, a short distance from the city centre, is the Weeskinderendijk car park, where you can park for free.

The historic inner city of Dordrecht is closed off to car traffic, where pedestrians have all the space they need. Parking is therefore not possible in the low-traffic area. For a visit to the centre of Dordrecht, it is best to park in one of the parking garages. Please follow the parking instructions.

There is a free shuttle bus from parking lot Weeskinderendijk (first 24 hours free) , this parking lot is a little further from the center. The shuttle bus runs exclusively on Saturdays between 10:00-18:00 to the city center and back. Parking in the parking garages is possible but be aware of extra traffic on Saturdays and during events.

There are several ways to get to the Dutch part of the Biesbosch National Park.

By bike
You can rent bicycles at Dordrecht station or from the tourist information office. From the centre, it takes about 30 minutes to cycle to Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht on Baanhoekweg.

Arriving by car
On the A15 or the A16, take the Dordrecht (N3) exit. On the N3, take the Hollandse Biesbosch exit. At the end of the exit turn right at the traffic lights onto the Baanhoekweg. After 4 km the Hollandse Biesbosch begins. Follow the signs to Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht.

By public transport
Qbuzz line 4 runs all year round from bus stop Centraal Station Dordrecht to bus stop Baanhoekweg - stop Grevelingenweg. From this stop, use can be made of the Nextbike shared bicycles. Please note that it is a 45-minute walk from this stop to Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht. Check www.9292.nl for the best route.

By Waterbus
From Merwekade in Dordrecht (the stop from Rotterdam, Papendrecht and Zwijndrecht) or from Sliedrecht you can take the Waterbus line 23 to the Hollandse Biesbosch. Bicycles can be taken on board for free! From the pier it is approximately 800 meters to Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht. From April to September, the Waterbus sails daily. From October to March, only on weekdays.

Would you like to visit the Brabant part of the Biesbosch National Park?
The best way to get there is by ferry from Dordrecht to the Kop van 't Land. This ferry takes cars, cyclists and walkers.

There are several addresses where you can rent bicycles, including the tourist information office and at Dordrecht Central Station.

In the centre of Dordrecht, you will find free bicycle parking facilities. Here, you can safely park your bicycle during a visit to the city.
The Kolfstraat storage facility offers an enclosed area for bicycles with luggage.
