Treasure hunting during the Art and Antiques Market
This is already the last edition this year of the cozy art and antiques market on the Nieuwkerksplein. At the same time, most art, antique and curio shops are extra open during Kunstondje Dordt. At the art and antiques market you might find that perfect little table you've been looking for for so long, or that cute little picture and maybe a nice vintage dress.
Starting at 2 p.m., the square will be even more fun, as there will also be live music. Of course, there will also be tasty snacks and drinks available.
Getting acquainted with culture during Culture Night
Be surprised during the Dordt Culture Night on Saturday, October 12. With more than 20 participating parties, you are guaranteed an enjoyable evening and night in the city center. During the Culture Night you will be introduced to everything our city has to offer in the field of culture for free. From a performance in a museum and a theater tour on the streets to world music and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at various cultural institutions - the Dordt Culture Night is an exceptionally diverse experience. Enjoy a cultural night of dance, theater and music.
Experience autumn in the Biesbosch
On Wednesday, October 30, come to the Biesboschcentrum in Dordrecht with the whole family and experience this beautiful season in the Biesbosch. Gnomes love autumn, which is why they celebrate this day with a fun autumn party for children ages five and up. On this day you walk the gnome trail through the forest. Book your gnome trail via the activity calendar on the website. The time you reserve is the start time of your gnome trail.
At the welcome gnome, your cheeks will be dyed red so you are ready for the tour. Along the way you will pass active, creative and natural activities. Look for the gnomes' houses in the forest. Discover all the beautiful colors of autumn - chances are you will come across all kinds of autumn treasures. At the end of the trail, finish the autumn party with some goodies by the warmth of the brazier.
