From chunky sneakers to knitts
This fall you will see a lot of chunky sneakers, or chunky sneakers with a thicker sole. And sneaker store Kicks & Coffee has them in their assortment! The more comfort-oriented sneaker is also very trendy. In earth tones, or in darker colors like brown and black. Also fun: at Kicks & Coffee you can score self-designed knits, in collaboration with Aveccopain! Owner Stan Blokhuis recently released these knitted sweaters and they are proving to be a real hit. "The first hundred pieces have already been sold. But if you missed out, you are welcome again at the pop-up store next to Kicks & Coffee from the end of November for a new release! The knitts are very popular and well liked. Why is that? Self-knit sweaters are a trend and mine are also very affordable. It's a super nice fall sweater: not too hot and not too cold. And embroidered on both sides, people like that. What also plays into it is that people are going for comfort lately and you notice that with the sneakers as well as with the sweaters."
Nice and warm sweaters
It's time for warm sweaters! There are plenty of them at No33 Basic Luxury: knitted sweaters, which are comfortably warm for autumn. The autumn fashion shows all kinds of colors and they have conquered this ladies fashion store in Dordrecht: burgundy, plum and beige. Brenda Mol: "We have a lot of knitted sweaters in the store and still plenty of wide pants. A lot of clothing is oversized. We are totally ready for this season; all the fall clothes are in. We notice that when it gets colder, people come shopping again. Especially for that nice warm sweater! Or for an accessory: it's nice to style your outfit with a nice burgundy bag. You have to own that one this winter!"
Above all, lots of color
In Pauline Snel's women's fashion store, color is the watchword this fall. Petrol colors, for example - a mixture between green and blue - and dark purple is also a trend color. In accessories, Pauline says there is a lot of burgundy in particular. "Really a trend! Like with bags. If you look at materials, you see that suede and corduroy are back. Fabrics that used to be worn regularly and now evoke recognition among my customers. At first you think: 'how old-fashioned', but clothes made of these fabrics look very nice." Pauline sees the attention for vests increasing, so they can be found frequently at Elily Ladies Fashion. Especially the worked ones. "People are really doing their best with their clothes, even this fall. They then use accessories to complete the look, like a hat. Again, in that burgundy color or in brown. A hat makes your outfit so much cooler!"
