Rockabilly Square - Sunday, August 28

'It promises to be another wonderful, easy-going festival'. Get your petticoats out of the attic, pull out those polka dots and paint your hair, because on the last Sunday of the month we go back to the 50s and 60s. During the festival Rockabilly Square you will hear infectious rock 'n' roll from two stages on the Statenplein and Statenplaats. Chances are you won't be able to stand still. "During this sixth edition, there is again a great lineup of artists," says organizer Wendy Stendert. "What I'm really happy about is that The Voice Kids winner Dax Hovius is coming to sing. I had already asked him for the whole corona event and in the meantime he has become quite well known. There are many local bands and artists playing and food trucks from local entrepreneurs. It promises to be a lovely, convivial festival." The festival begins at 1 p.m.
