Pontoon Barracks. This current office building at Buiten Walevest 15 was part of the former Pontooniers Barracks. The pontooniers were the bridge builders of the army. In 1866, the corps got access to this former hospital of the fortress artillery. The Pontoon Engineers and Dordrecht were connected for approximately 350 years until the corps left the barracks in 1952.
