Lots of Dordrecht news!
'Beautiful lady' in Italian: that means 'Bella Signora', the name of the new boat from Si Barone . It is a classic car boat from 1936 that has been completely restored. Sirio and Paula: "We were still looking for a boat like this because of the space on board. You can also have drinks and dinner on it. The boat also fits in well with the rest of the fleet in terms of style." Si Barone currently has five boats: Talamod for up to nine people, Elena for up to ten people, Felicità for up to twelve people, Il Viaggio for up to four people and now Bella Signora for up to twelve people. "We hope that our guests are as enthusiastic as we are and that we can let people have a wonderful time on board this new beauty."
A gigantic counter of seven meters long, with a pink coffee machine on it and all kinds of delicacies and baking-related products: quickly get to know Coffeelicious Bakery Store ! The lunchroom remains the same; you walk from the new store to the lunchroom. In the store you will find the delicious products that Coffeelicious makes itself, such as cakes and cupcakes, supplemented with food and non-food products from other suppliers. "We had more and more demand for our cookies," Fiona Stoger explains about the expansion with a store. "We had a pop-up store at the bakery and then there was always a line in front of the door. The cookie sales from the window in September were also crazy. When we were able to buy the building next door, we didn't have to think about it for long. Cookies are a trend and we are definitely going to continue that with the store. The addition of the store is a great new step for Coffeelicious!"
Lots of cheerfulness and colour: that is what the new home and gift shop Jimmi Dutch Creative stands for. And creative, that is what owners Jimmy Visschers and Niek Nagtzaam certainly are. “We sell things that make you happy. Things that make us happy! And that is mainly lots of colour. Jewellery, greeting cards, things for the home, dog biscuits – all sorts of things. All things that you will not easily find in Dordrecht. We also have a lot of second-hand items that we upcycle and sell ourselves.” Jimmy and Niek looked in advance at what was still missing in Dordrecht and came up with gift items that radiate positivity. “We try to create our own trends. Since we love bright colours, you will find items in orange and pink, for example. We thought: 'we will give people some colour'!
Whether you come for a romantic dinner, a cozy lunch with friends or a special occasion, at the brand new Restobar Vertu you can count on a warm welcome and dishes that will spoil your senses! In an atmospheric ambiance and with a good vibe you can enjoy trendy shared dining. The name says it all: you choose small dishes that you can share with your table companions. For example, eat at the bar, something that is increasingly done these days. The dishes are international - from Asian to South American. Restobar Vertu introduces a somewhat new way of cooking, such as with fermentation and on Japanese charcoal. Many ingredients come from a somewhat higher segment, but you don't notice that: you get somewhat smaller dishes for a reasonable price. With caviar or langoustines, that will be enjoyable! Also with wine, because Restobar Vertu has no less than 180 different wines on the menu.
Does life sometimes feel like one big chaos? Buying your own house? Haha, no. Student debt? Of course. Crisis after crisis? Classic. 'We feel you', they say at Bibelot . That's why the pop venue offers young people PECHKO , or a bad luck discount for the bad luck generation. Score a 25 percent discount on all events at Bibelot, with a youth ticket that all young people up to and including 23 years old can buy via the website. About twenty tickets are available per show - for example 'It's not a phase, mom!' on May 30th. And if you buy such a ticket for yourself or for your children, it is possible that you will be asked for ID at the entrance to the hall. PECHKO is already a success, according to Chris Verheijen of Bibelot. “These special youth tickets are selling well. For performances for a younger target group, but certainly also for those for a somewhat older target group. We really see that more young people are coming to Bibelot. It looks positive! So we are happy that we launched this initiative.”
