In 2022, the ensemble won the audience award of the Dutch Classical Talent 2022: "Four top players with an effervescent energy, they grab you from the first note! The quartet is at the service of each other and of the music and is the great promise of Dutch string quartets".
In November 2023, the musicians subsequently received The Kersjes Prize, the most important award in the Netherlands for classical chamber music talent. As a quartet, the players, each maintaining and deploying their individual expression, have developed a layered and intense playing with a wide palette of colors.
The Animato Quartet consists of: Inga Våga Gaustad (violin), Tim Brackman (violin), Elisa Karen Tavenier (viola) and Pieter de Koe (cello).

- Béla Bartók - String Quartet no.3 in C-sharp
- Amanda Röntgen-Maier - String Quartet in A
