Dordrecht is once again the New Orleans of the Low Countries in July. The purple, green and gold Mardi Gras necklaces can come out of the closet for the multi-day music festival Big Rivers. There are musical activities for young and old on various stages throughout the city. Also festival market, which takes place in the Grotekerksbuurt and on the Groenmarkt.

Performances will take place at: Grotekerskplein, Korte Kalkhaven, Grote Markt, Spuiboulevard, Houttuinen, Statenplaats, De Waag, Wijnstraat, Aardappelmarkt, Stadhuisplein, Groenmarkt (garden Brut) and Binnenstad.
