The Veerdienst 3, built in 1898, is an attractive historic party ship that can accommodate parties of up to 35 people. The ship is operated by an association and foundation consisting of enthusiastic volunteers. Every third Thursday in the months of March through October, the ship sails to the Baggermuseum in Sliedrecht.
Program:
09:30: Reception with coffee/tea at the Inland Navigation Museum, where you will also be shown around.
11:30 a.m.: Ferry 3 departure from the Inland Navigation Museum
11:40 a.m.: cruise via the Wantij, the Helsluis and the Beneden-Merwede to the Baggermuseum in Sliedrecht
1:30 p.m.: tour of the Dredging Museum
3 p.m.: departure for Dordrecht
4 p.m.: arrival at the Inland Navigation Museum
