Camp Art-Rock, roots and cinematic jazz mixed with a touch of David Lynch. ERNST makes music that seems to come out of a film noir. Their songs are laced with chilling vocals, ragged guitars and haunting drums.
ERNST has regularly been on the radar of the Belgian music press in recent years. For instance, 'Er wordt verteld' (an EP with musical horror stories) and 'Sad Seasons', a musical quadriptych with seasonal soundtracks, received a lot of press attention.
'In Spring', their pop song propelled by a repetitive bass line, as well as their new single 'We Talk Like Girls', regularly appear on the playlists of radio stations Willy and Radio 1.
