During the Easter weekend, on Saturday, April 19, children can search for the eggs of the famous Dordrecht duck Sijtje in the museum's garden.
Sijtje laid as many as a hundred eggs a year, which was so special that Aelbert Cuyp painted a portrait of her. Bring your own basket or bag and join the search for the (candy) eggs. If you like, you can also visit Sijtje in the museum afterwards.
Participation is free and advance registration is not required.
Museum admission is free for children. Adults need an entrance ticket.
