Exhibition of the extraordinary work of Amber Peeters.
Amber Peeters
'Even as a little girl I started to draw birds with colored pencils. Soon after that I started drawing other animals, especially horses. My parents encouraged me and they gave me oil paints so I could try them out. Drawing and painting was it for me and it still is at this stage of my life. I try to portray my emotions, that which goes on in my head; the chaotic nature of my thoughts. With the use of color, I bring out the positive. My work now is mostly intuitive and abstract; traditionally I worked more figuratively, especially with cats as subject matter. I hope my work conveys the positive feeling.
