Extra screening of the film "No Other Land" as part of Freedom Week, held April 30-May 6.

Basel Adra is a young Palestinian activist who has opposed the forced displacement of his people by the Israeli army in Masafer Yatta, a West Bank region, since childhood. He records the gradual destruction of his homeland, where the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are demolishing Palestinian homes and displacing their residents. Adra befriended Yuval, an Israeli journalist who helps him in his struggle. They form an unexpected bond, but their friendship is tested by the huge gap between their living conditions: Basel struggles with constant military repression and violence, while Yuval enjoys freedom and security while living only half an hour apart.

An audience discussion will take place after the film.

Tickets cost €8.50 p.p.

This evening is organized by The PAX Embassy of Peace Dordrecht.
