Film screenings especially for VO and MBO students to commemorate and celebrate 80 years of freedom

Classes in secondary education and MBO can treat 80 Years of Freedom with the help of free film screenings and in-depth teaching programs, which will be organized (in the month of May) throughout the province. Especially for this purpose, two impressive films have been selected by Movies that Matter: the experts in the field of human rights education through film. In cooperation with Filmhub Zuid-Holland, Filmtheater De Witt will present these programs in Dordrecht.

In Germany, shortly before the end of World War II, 11-year-old Felix and his mother flee the bombings. In the village where they are taken in, Hitler is popular. Felix finds it exciting to join the Nazis. Slowly he discovers how things really are. Is his father, who is a soldier, a hero or not?
The Mindgame
When he was only 14, Sajid Khan Nasiri fled Afghanistan on his own. After a two-year journey full of danger and hardship, which he recorded in detail with his phone camera, he arrived in Belgium. There, a whole new struggle begins.
