The Life of Chuck is based on a story by the famous SciFi thriller writer Stephen King. In three chapters, the film chronicles the life of Charles "Chuck" Krantz (Tom Hiddleston), a seemingly ordinary man. As the end of the world approaches, mysterious advertisements start appearing everywhere, thanking Chuck for 39 wonderful years of service. Marty Anderson (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a man who imagined the end of times very differently becomes fascinated by the question: Who is this Chuck, and why does it seem as if the fate of the world is tied to him? Slowly but surely, memories, personal tragedies and cosmic mysteries intertwine to create an emotional story about life, loss and the impact one person can have — even when no one knows exactly why.
