The tycoon Anatole "Zsa-Zsa" Korda(Benecio del Toro) is one of the richest men on the European continent. The manipulative businessman has a nefarious plan to expand his empire. But also many enemies, some of whom go far to thwart him. The umpteenth plane crash he survives calls for something. He wants to reconnect with his daughter Liesl(Mia Threapleton), who found her calling as a nun, She must become his successor and so she walks with him. A tour full of encounters with all sorts of colorful and seedy characters, which lands them in the world of espionage.
Director Wes Anderson enjoys creating bizarre comedies in his unique and eccentric visual style. This film, too, is a succession of beautiful pictures.
