de Volkskrant: "...a stunning, layered portrait of women in contemporary India."
Prabha(Kani Kusruti) is a nurse from Mumbai. In the über-chaotic witchcraft of this metropolis of millions, her care and gentleness is a relief. When her estranged husband suddenly reconnects, her existence falters. Meanwhile, her younger and more rebellious colleague and flatmate Anu(Divya Prabha) seeks ways to be with her secret love. When a third colleague decides to move to her hometown on the coast, the two women also temporarily flee the hustle and bustle. In the tranquility of the seaside, space finally arises to respond to their own desires.
Director Payal Kapadia (v) created a film gem of compassion and female empowerment. It is also an ode to Mumbai, where the huge crowd lives together under the motto "live without anger."
