The true story of the disappearance of former congressman Rubens Paiva during Brazil's military dictatorship in the 1970s. Director Walter Salles is filming again in his native Brazil after a long time. He based the story on the diaries of Ruben's son Marcelo. There, this film drama became an outright box office hit.
