Nature filmmaker David Attenborough presents "his most important film ever"

Directed by: Toby Nowlan, Keith Scholey, Colin Butfield - Actors: David Attenborough (as himself)
Length: 105 minutes - Language: English
- Subtitles: Dutch

de Volkskrant: "...magisterially portrays life in/around the ocean ... a call to action!"

David Attenborough takes viewers on a breathtaking journey in/around/under the water. He shows that the ocean is most important to our survival and nowhere is it more full of life, wonder and surprise than in the ocean. The celebrated nature filmmaker reveals how his life coincided with the great era of ocean discovery. Beautiful images of coral reefs, kelp forests and the open ocean are followed by images of their destruction by the fishing industry, among others. But fortunately, the examples pile up that the ocean can also recover, which Attenborough says is highly necessary to keep the entire planet stable and thriving.
