Experienced and highly intelligence agent in cyber security George Woodhouse(Fassbender) is a driven truth-finder. He is tasked with exposing a traitor within the organization who is passing on information about secret technology. Five colleagues are on a list of suspects. These include top agent Kathryn St Jean(Blanchett), who is also his much-loved wife. More and more clues point in her direction This puts George in a dilemma between loyalty to his country and to his marriage.
Soderbergh does direction, camera and editing himself and wraps this mix of spy thriller and relationship drama in eye-catching dressing and imagery.
