Hoarders are people with a compulsive behavior of collecting and not throwing anything away.
London, 1984. Eccentric single mother Cynthia(Hayley Squires) drags amen with her 7-year-old daughter Maria(Lily-Beau Leach). Together they form a symbiosis of tender and boundless love. By day, they roam the streets in search of discarded treasures. Thus their home turns into a garbage storage facility. Even the rats are welcome there.
Ten years later, Maria (Saura Lightfoot Leon) lives in an orderly foster home. Meeting twenty-something Michael(Joseph Quin) - he is a garbage collector - revives her old existence.
Overwhelming debut film by British Luna Carmoon.
