This is the 1972 orbiting concert film, shot in the impressive ruins of the ancient Roman amphitheater in Pompeii. The concert took place without an audience so it could be recorded very intimately. You will see and hear timeless classics such as Echoes, A Saucerful of Secretsand One of These Days. The breathtaking footage of the amphitheater, both day and night, enhances the magic of the performance and makes for a unique and immersive experience. In addition, the film includes rare footage, providing a behind-the-scenes look as the band works on The Dark Side of the Moon at London's Abbey Road Studios.
The concert film, directed by Adrian Maben, returns to theaters, digitally remastered in 4K from the original 35mm footage and with enhanced audio.
