The Iraq War in 2006. A U.S. Navy SEAL unit is holed up in the home of an Iraqi family for a dangerous mission in Ramadi. With snipers, the soldiers monitor all movements of the "enemy" in minute detail. Yet they fail to prevent a major ambush. Under heavy fire, the operation gets completely out of hand, resulting in serious injuries. While the soldiers make every effort to keep the wounded alive and desperately wait for rescue, their situation becomes more and more dire: how long can they hold out?
This blood-curdling war thriller showcases modern warfare and old-fashioned brotherhood: in real time and through the eyes of the soldiers themselves. Based on the memories of Iraq veteran Ray Mendoza, who wrote the screenplay and directed the film along with Alex Garland ( Civil War, among others).
