By now it has become a tradition, on King's Day Filmtheater De Witt is at the Free Market. On the sidewalk of our terrace we have a large stall with film posters and banners. We sell these and with the proceeds we finance a few film screenings each year for audiences who do not have the (sufficient) means for this. Find a poster of your favorite movie.Or just one that beautifully frames your room. Turn banners into a tablecloth for your garden table or sew a shopping bag out of them. The choices are endless.
The Nieuwstraat and Kloostertuin around us form the cozy heart of the free market. The terrace of De Witt is a great place to sit/chill when the weather is nice.
Saturday, April 26. The sale is from 10:00 to 16:00. The terrace is open from 10:00 and at 13:00 there is live music.
