The amazing, breathtaking odyssey of a young cat who, along with her peers, searches for dry land on a flooded earth. A gripping rollercoaster of an adventure that feels simultaneously magical and realistic. The humans are gone, but that doesn't seem to bother the cat. The house with the nice bed is still there and the river is full of fish. But when the flood threatens everything living, survival becomes a struggle. The cat meets a variety of other animals, who together must endure a survival journey by sailboat.

This groundbreaking animated film by the Latvian filmmaker Glint Zibalodis, which ranks high on every Oscar list, elicits superlatives from the international press and leaves audiences - both adults and children - in admiration.

Our regular CineFiliaal audience rated the film very positively with 4.16 (out of 5).
