Synopsis
At one of her lavish parties, the famous Parisian courtesan Violetta is introduced to
Alfredo Germont. They fall passionately in love with each other, and although she is reluctant to give up her life
of luxury and freedom behind her, Violetta nevertheless follows her heart. But the happiness of the young
couple lasts but a short time, when the harsh realities of life set in.
