Synopsis
In White Bird, Julian (Bryce Gheisar) struggles to fit in at his new school since being expelled from his previous school for bullying. To inspire him about how one act of kindness can change a life, Julian's grandmother Sara (Helen Mirren) finally reveals her eventful life story. While growing up in Nazi-occupied France, her classmate and his mother (Gillian Anderson) risk everything to protect Jewish Sara. While Sara is in hiding in a barn and the war brings ever greater risks, they discover what love is in a self-created magical world.
