Closing of the exhibition "Willemijn Looks, marvels at the everyday.
Artists Renée Bus, Lucia Koevoets, Ellen Yiu and Esther van Zoelen will give a glimpse into their work with a number of special activities, engage in conversation together and wave goodbye to the audience.
From 15:00 everyone is welcome to witness the addition of a new work by Esther van Zoelen, followed by a brief word about the afternoon. Afterwards, Lucia Koevoets immerses the audience in her sensory performance, where special objects are revealed and displayed. Also, Renée Bus recites a text from a publication, which is a quirky addition to her sculptural work. Renée, Lucia and Esther also make room for experimentation during the "experimental displacement" in the main hall, in which play and intuition play an important role.
Starting at 4 p.m., an artist talk will take place, also in style of wonder and ordinariness. Prior to the public afternoon, a private, interactive reading will also take place in the bar and foyer. Led by Esther, a text will be read together, followed by a connection to the exhibition in conversation. There is also space to browse artist's books - which are normally under glass. Some of the books are also for sale.
