Sunday, April 13 - 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Do you think you are not flexible enough for yoga? Have you wanted to try yoga, but going to a yoga studio is still a step too far? Or do you practice via YouTube, but miss a sense of community? Then you're welcome to this yoga class for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies!
Asa Splinter (who/diens) knows better than anyone else what it is like to navigate a world of sports and movement that is not geared to queer, transgender and non-binary individuals. That's why his mission is to make yoga and movement more accessible to all different types of bodies and brains.
Experience the power of queer yoga in a safe and inclusive environment! As part of the exhibition Aahhh...! about body, gender, sexuality and consent, Asa offers a special yoga class exploring themes of identity, boundaries and self-care.
On Sunday, April 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Asa will come to the Museum of Education to discover fun and relaxation in yoga with you.
Important: Wear clothes in which you can move easily. Maximum of 15 people!
A spot can be reserved through Tickets. A valid ticket to the museum is required for participation.
Tip: with the Museumkaart, Rotterdampas and Dordtpas you don't pay an entrance fee to the museum!
