The walks take place on the island De Kikvorsch or Otter, a place in the middle of the Biesbosch that can only be reached by the Zonnepont from Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht. On the island you follow an adventurous route (2 km) along willow forests and creeks. During the evening expedition, the full circular walk (5 km) is walked across the island. The excursions are guided by enthusiastic nature guides & foresters and are aimed at adults, but interested children are also welcome.
During the Biesbosch Expedition you can participate in six inspiring expeditions. Accompanied by experienced guides and forest rangers, you will go on an exploration. Learn all about moths, birds, dragonflies, butterflies, plants and herbs. Come with your family, with friends or alone. There is something for everyone to experience.
