The focus of this excursion is not nature, but the "monuments" of area De Elzen. IVN nature guides tell about various buildings and hidden gems in De Elzen. For example, what is the history of Paviljoen de Viersprong? What was the function of the "bunkers" you see here and there? After whom is the Johannes Visgemaal named and what is its history?
