Walk through Park Louterbloemen. The theme of the walk is: Stinzenplanten. This park was originally a buitenplaats and in 1853 owned by family Blussé of Oud Alblas and it was customary to collect special exotic plants (Stinzenplanten) and give them a nice place on the estate. As a buitenplaats there is quite a history but now, in our time, it is a small park (owned by the Municipality) and there is also Animal Shelter Louterbloemen on the original grounds.
There is great biodiversity, special animals include the nuthatch, water bat and tawny owl. There is also no shortage of unusual plants, for example, the blue anemone. It is definitely worth participating in the walk especially since it is organized and guided by IVN guides only once or twice a year.
Participation: free of charge.
Registration: not required.
