Since mid-April he is back in the country after his wintering in tropical Africa, the Nightingale. Almost everyone has heard about the fabulous singing qualities of the Nightingale, but few have actually seen it. It is an inconspicuously colored bird that prefers to live in thickets. Dense brambles with nettles in forest edges and wooded banks and dense thickets in the dunes are favorites. During this walk the guides will tell you all about this special bird, but also about other birds in the Biesbosch.
