The nitrogen crisis is gripping the country and causing great division in society. Ecologist Wieger Wamelink of Wageningen University wants to make sure that everyone who enters the discussion on this subject does so on the basis of correct scientific facts. That is why he wrote the accessible book 'The Nitrogen Web' and will come and talk about it in Dordrecht on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Wieger Wamelink makes nitrogen understandable to everyone. He explains clearly how we got into this "nitrogen crisis," what exactly excess nitrogen does to plants and the ecosystem, and how you can see the consequences in the nature around you.
