On July 1, Dordrecht celebrates freedom after the abolition of slavery. In Sranan we call it Keti Koti, in Papiamentu Dia di Albolishon, in English Emancipation Day.
After last year's success, this year's festival will be even bigger and more beautiful. The festival will open with a Bigi Spikri parade from the CECD to the Weizigtpark. During the Keti Koti Festival Dordrecht will come together in the Weizigtpark to celebrate freedom, resilience and connection. Come enjoy music, spoken word, delicious food and for the children a children's square with various children's activities
Whether you come to discover, meet or embrace: you are most welcome.
Keti Koti belongs to all of us. Will you come too?
