Music venue DJS will be awash in the rousing rhythms and enchanting melodies of Klezmagic on March 22. This eight-piece Balkan band, famous for their energetic horn sections, lyrical violins and irresistible chemistry on stage, will get any venue dancing.
A band with a story
Klezmagic was founded in 2009 by Turkish-Dutch clarinetist Emirhan Tuğa with a mission to bring traditional Balkan music to a new generation. With their unique blend of Balkan, klezmer, ska and world music, Klezmagic has built a loyal fan base, thanks in part to summer tours of Europe in their iconic camper van.
An impressive repertoire
Klezmagic released their debut album MAKEDAMSKO in 2019 and have since released multiple singles, an EP and a live album.
From Paradiso and Carré to festivals such as Delft Jazz and Hemeltjelief, Klezmagic; has proven that they can turn any stage into a dancing crowd.
