In February 2024, Koen Bruning published "On the Spectrum. The book uses Koen's personal experiences to tell what it is like to have autism in this society and how the power dynamics in our society play a role in it.
Following "On the Spectrum," there has been extensive media coverage of the book and the topic of autism. Bruning was a guest at Jongstof, De Nieuws BV and Tijd voor MAX to talk about his book and personal experiences. In addition, debate center De Balie in Amsterdam organized a program on autism in education, where several experts and experts by experience were guests.
