The title IMG_0001 sounds like a file on a phone or camera, but what hides behind such a mysterious name? During this children's tour, you'll dive together into the world of artist Riley Walz, who plays with nostalgia, old videos and memories. Together, you will consider what exactly nostalgia is, what we can do with our memories and how we should deal with phones that seem to capture everything. We will look at his work through playful and inquisitive glasses. Children are invited to guess, imagine and tell:
Who or what might be on that video?
- What happened before or after?
- What would you film and upload?
- What does it mean to "share" something?
After the guided tour, you will work together: draw your funniest memory - recent or long ago, really happened or a little bit made up. Think of a moment or something that made you happy: a day at the beach, a birthday party, your favorite animal, something funny at school... Anything goes!
Imagine this drawing later appearing as a picture on your phone. What would it be called? Perhaps ... IMG_0002?
