Do you love crafting and aren't afraid to go big? Then come help build your dream village out of cardboard!
From July 29 through Saturday, August 2, the schoolyard of the Statenschool will be transformed into a large construction site and you can build a cardboard city together. There will be built with recycled materials from Dordrecht entrepreneurs. Together with other children you will build houses, stores and castles. Maybe even a replica of the Great Church of Dordrecht. What could be more fun than turning a pile of old
boxes into a dream palace!
Every morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Kartondorp is open. Participants can come for one day or join in for the whole week. Participation is free and parents, caregivers, grandparents or grandparents are welcome
to help build. More than 125 children have already signed up!
Kartondorp is organized as part of the Wijkavontuur, a neighborhood-oriented approach that aims to give all Dordrecht children the opportunity to discover and stimulate their talents at an early age.
