Igone de Jongh is the prima ballerina of the Netherlands. She had a brilliant career at Het Nationale Ballet, where she entered as a talented student and would grow into the unsurpassed muse of Hans van Manen. In the past two years she created three major performances of her own and was artistic director of the United Ukrainian Ballet Company.
After a career of more than 35 years , she now shares her personal experiences and knowledge with the audience in 'Masterclass' . First, she coaches two pupils live in studying a great classical work , after which they perform this piece , accompanied by a pianist.
