This performance tells the moving story of a 13-year-old boy's search for his missing parents during the indescribably savage civil war in Bosnia (1992 - 1995). Within a year, Mirad loses all his loved ones, leaves his homeland and ends up in a Dutch foster home. Through diary excerpts and letters, Mirad's story is brought to life by a small cast (Ruben Buter, Tirza Klein, Eduard Ruijendijk and Marianne Spit). In his childlike innocence and courage, Mirad takes you into his world, his gruesome and personal experiences and dilemmas. You can't help but listen...
Not only in the 1990s, but also today there are fierce debates about refugees and foreigners. With which this story demands to be told and is more topical than ever.
