You can't start young enough. Do you have a little one between the ages of 6 months and almost 4 years and do you think music is fun and important? Then M!N! Music is for you and your child!
M!N! Music offers you the opportunity to learn about music with your little one. Making and experiencing music together with your child is incredibly fun and relaxing and it contributes to your child's development. M!N! Music starts 6 times per season and each series has its own theme, the series can be followed separately. We conclude in the last (5th) lesson with the Do-But-Me-Concert, where grandpa, grandma or a neighbor can come and admire your M!N! Musician. The groups are small (max 8 children) so there is plenty of room for personal attention.
What are you actually teaching your little one?
While making music and experiencing it, a kind of cross-fertilization takes place in the brain. Different areas are stimulated at the same time. For your child, this has a positive effect on language development, for example, but also motor development. Your child is playfully introduced to different aspects of music and can try out different instruments.

The musical development of young children is important and serves so many purposes. Yet young children often fall between the cracks when it comes to music education, and M!N! Music changes that! M!N! Music is an initiative of Irene Versluis, in which she gives various context-based music lessons, within a desired theme and aimed at the pre-school target group (as early as 6 months). In small groups the musical interaction between (grand)parent/caregiver and child is stimulated in a playful way. There is room for personal attention and mutual challenge. Irene is a trained educator, mother and musician at heart.
