Joost Zweegers (Novastar) resists looking back, but with "The Best Is Yet To Come' he brings remakes of his hits and a new song. This concert is a rediscovery of Novastar's work.
A rediscovery: classics by Novastar in a new jacket
For years, Joost Zweegers (Novastar) has been asked for an overview of the greatest hits from his rich oeuvre. But looking back is not his thing. Be great or be gone' is not for nothing the slogan hanging above his piano. It ensures that Novastar has been delivering rock-solid pop songs for 25 years. The British producer duo Mikey Rowe and Andrew Britton managed to win him over anyway, resulting in the album "The Best Is Yet To Come'. Not your average retrospective, but remakes of ten Novastar classics plus a new song: 'Look At You Now'. Moreover, during the recording sessions, a boyhood dream of Zweegers fulfilled: the finishing touches were made at the Abbey Road Studioswhere his heroes The Beatles recorded their greatest successes. During this concert you will hear the most beautiful Novastar songs in a new jacket.
