Open Podium Statenplein, every Wednesday evening from 7:30 p.m. with a very diverse program, filled by music groups, choirs, orchestras, singer-songwriters, poets, theater makers, dance groups and other performing artists from Dordrecht and the surrounding area.
The Vocal Harmony Academy Mass Choir is an amalgamation of three choirs from Vocal Harmony Academy (VHA) of Dordrecht. There is nothing like singing gospel, soul and blues with a great group of energetic singers.
Sitting still and not singing along seems almost impossible at a performance of the VHA Mass Choir, but it is certainly not necessary! We like to invite everyone to clap, move and above all sing along! Well known songs such as "We Shall Overcome" and "With a Little Help From My Friends" will certainly not be missing during this performance! But also modest songs such as "Stand By Me" and "You've Got A Friend" will be played.
Sing with your whole heart and soul! Singing together connects!
The VHA Mass Choir is under the inspiring direction of conductor and vocal coach Trea Kuijsten and is accompanied by well-known Dordrecht pianist and Hammond organist Govert van der Kolm.
