The Osimun Quartet consists of four Spanish saxophonists, who give a new color and setting to classical music by writing their own arrangements for their instrumentation. They also enjoy collaborating with contemporary composers, expanding and broadening their repertoire. Their quest for growth and ambition to develop further as chamber musicians has led them to the Dutch String Quartet Academy, where they are taught by influential musicians in the chamber music world. In addition, they are part of the ensembles of the European Chamber Music Academy, the leading European collaborative project that provides support for young professional ensembles.
The Osimun Quartet consists of: Diego Dávila Cabanillas (soprano saxophone), Fátima Alcázar Rodríguez (alto saxophone), Inés González Gómez (tenor saxophone) and Ricard Martínez Bernadó (baritone saxophone).
"This young Spanish quartet impresses with its beautiful ensemble sound. At times fiery, then again tender and transparent. Like a blank canvas, they allow themselves to be overwhelmed by the music " - Jury Dutch Classical Talent.
