About Patrick
Patrick Laureij is one of the most prominent cabaret performers in the Netherlands. Born in Rotterdam, he knows like no other how to capture the raw charm of the city in his humor. His career began in comedy clubs, where he quickly demonstrated his talent for sharp observations and raw, unpolished humor. Laureij broke through in 2013 when he won the Cameretten Festival, one of the most important cabaret awards in the Netherlands.
With his Rotterdam accent, authentic appearance and unique view of the world, Patrick Laureij not only knows how to entertain, but also how to move and make people think. He is praised for his ability to bring heavy themes with lightness, without losing depth. A force to be reckoned with in the Dutch cabaret world.
