Organ improvisations and choral singing with organist Pieter Heykoop.
Pieter Heykoop was born in Dordrecht on October 11, 1960.

He then studied with Cor Visser, the then organist of the Grote Kerk in Dordrecht. His teachers also included Jan Bonefaas, organist of the Grote Kerk in Gorinchem, and the internationally renowned organist Ben van Oosten.
At the age of 15, he was appointed permanent organist of one of the Reformed Churches in his hometown. Since 1986, Pieter Heykoop has been organist of the Reformed Congregation in his hometown of Yerseke, where he plays the 3-manual Van den Heuvel/Boogaard organ.
Pieter Heykoop is a much sought-after organist for singing and organ evenings at home and abroad.
He has played numerous imposing organs in France, England, Germany, Luxembourg, Scotland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Canada, U.S.A., Israel and South Africa, among others.
Many CDs of his organ improvisations, choral singing and singing together have been published. All his CD releases can be heard on Familystream.

The year 2025 is dedicated to his 50th anniversary as an organist. During this year, evenings will be organized at various locations to celebrate this. The highlight will be on Saturday, October 11, in the Grote Kerk in Dordrecht.
On that day Pieter hopes to turn 65, he will have been organist for exactly 50 years and his Coral Book of 150 psalms will be published.
