They play. You sing. That's Popup Choir: bruising pop songs, two hours of nice going and a three-part climax. Even if you think you can't sing. Conductor Maarten Bos and guitarist Tijmen de Koning, as self-proclaimed #singfluencers, are on a mission: to get the Netherlands to sing more. In their 80s singalong the vocal cords are well stretched and lubricated. Sing along with ABBA, Survivor's 'Eye of the Tiger', The Pointer Sisters and Bon Jovi. The main course: singing one song delightfully polyphonic with the entire room. "A choral gasme", according to a whipped-up journalist from NRC.
