Anyone who thought Dutch pop legend Robert Jan Stips would be done with surprising projects by now is wrong. After the impressive run with Nits, Supersister, Sweet d'Buster, Transister, Freek de Jonge and Golden Earring, in 2025, in close collaboration with singer Jane Goulding (Plan Nine and Livin' Blues, among others), he announces the arrival of an entirely new project: StipsGoulding.
For quite some time they have been quietly working on their first album, which will be released in the spring of '25 and from which a single track has already come out on Spotify and YouTube under rave reviews - eliciting terms like "hypnotic" and "Dreamy pop" from fans.
The duo is preparing to perform this new material plus a much wider range of (new) songs together live in Dutch clubs and theaters, not forgetting more familiar Stips' material! Expect an evening of beautiful music and great stories about a career spanning more than 50 years - in a small line-up.
