Are you ready for an adventure in nature? On April 5, Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht festively opens the new recreation season, and that means a day full of fun activities for nature lovers. There is plenty to experience, from boating with the forest ranger to tracking in the woods and browsing the mini-nature market.
During this day you can go out on the water with the forest ranger and look for Biesbosch inhabitants such as the impressive osprey. There is also the possibility to go bird watching with a Biesbosch guide or to take the Zonnepont to the Griendmuseumpad for free. On this special island you walk along a nature trail that takes you to the "griendwerkerskeet", where you will be welcomed by griend workers and receive a delicious beaver cake.
Take a look at the mini-nature market at the Biesbosch Center, where all kinds of fun organizations are ready with interesting information and nature products. Or discover the barefoot path, take off your shoes and experience nature in a unique way!
For children there is a special stamp card with adventurous tasks such as face painting, painting under the guidance of a real Biesbosch painter and a treasure hunt through the forest. Turn in your full stamp card at the Biesbosch Center desk and receive a surprising gift.
Don't forget to have your picture taken with the one and only Biesbosch Beaver. Make up the best name for the beaver and hand it in on April 5. Who knows, maybe your name will be chosen!
